Infrared Sauna Agreement / Acknowledgement

  • Total weight limit for Sauna use is a maximum of 500lbs (1 or 2 adults max combined weight)

  • Drinks, food and footwear are not permitted in the sauna.

  • You must wear a swimsuit or appropriate clothing in the Sauna and sit on provided towel while in Sauna

  • Sauna sessions should be limited to no more than 30 minutes

  • Discontinue the use of the Sauna if you feel light-headed, dizzy, or heat exhausted. 

  • No one under the age of 18 is permitted in the Sauna 

  • Pregnant women are not permitted in the Sauna

 

PRECAUTIONS/CONTRAINDICATIONS

Clients using any medication must consult a physician or pharmacist prior to the use of the sauna. Some medications may induce drowsiness while other may affect the heart rate, blood pressure, and/or blood circulation.

The use of alcohol, drugs, or medications (prescribed or non-prescribed) prior to or during the sauna session may lead to unconsciousness and/or other harmful physical injuries.

Persons suffering from obesity or with a medical history of heart disease, low or high blood pressure, circulatory system problems, diabetes, or other medical conditions should consult with a medical physician prior to using the sauna

Please consult your physician if you are in doubt of your ability to use the full spectrum infrared sauna for health reasons.

Use care when exercising before and after sauna use. Do not use the sauna immediately following strenuous exercises. Wait at least 30 minutes to allow the body to cool down completely.

Hyperthermia Danger: The normal body temperature can’t rise above 103°F (39°C). Symptoms of excessive hyperthermia include dizziness, lethargy, drowsiness, and/or fainting. The effects of excessive hyperthermia may include, but are not limited to failure to perceive heat, physical inability to exit the sauna, unawareness of impending hazards, unconsciousness, and/or fetal harm in pregnant women. Hyperthermia could make your body’s core temperature rise. Setting the desired temperature to an excessively high temperature is not recommended.

If you have a medical/health condition, are taking prescription drugs, or have acute joint injuries, please consult with your medical physician before using the sauna. Persons with surgical implants (metal pins/rods, artificial joints, silicone, or other types of surgical implants) typically do not experience any adverse effects but should also consult their medical physician or surgeon before using the sauna room.

Any damage to the inside or outside of Sauna that occurs from your session will result in the replacement of parts/ whole Sauna replacement if necessary on your behalf.

I acknowledge and voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident, or death which may arise from the use of an infrared sauna. I, on behalf of myself and any of my heirs, executors, representatives, or assignees, hereby waive and release all claims or liabilities for personal injury or property damages of any kind sustained while on the premises, during the use of the full spectrum infrared sauna and from any advice provided by an employee or any representative. I agree that this Application and Waiver is in effect for all infrared sauna sessions and will not expire unless specifically requested by either party.
